Thanks to everyone who attended the concert given by Giggleswick and Settle Brass Band.  The hall was packed and we were treated to a variety of music from hymns to show tunes.  It was nice to hear the personal connection from the musical director and some of the history of brass bands in the local area.

Our final Coffee and Chat was held on Sunday morning with the usual suspects arriving for tea, coffee, cake and biscuits and a friendly chat and update on the kitchen refurbishment.

Both events have added to much needed funds for the upkeep of the institute which is a hub for local groups.

Watch this space for further upcoming events including our Sunday afternoon charity teas which run through the whole of the summer.
